Walhalla Farmer’s Market
With the tagline “Garden of the Gods” it’s hard not to imagine a wealth of nature’s bounty being offered. This market is often located on Main Street. It is open on Monday mornings from 7 AM to 10 AM. It is also open on Thursday afternoons from 4 PM to 7 PM. You can be assured of high quality and truly fresh produce are sold here. Other than produce, local wares are also available.
This market is wholly open to vendors who have local grown products around the Oconee County. You can catch local traders like Donna Hudson with her local or raw honey. They sell around $16 at a quart, $9 for a pint, and half a pint at $5 (Kindly note that their prices may have changed from the time of posting).
Like every farmer’s market, the goal is support local industries and products. If you’re in the area, come by and help support the local farmers and provide a significant boost to the local economy.
If you’re interested in grabbing a spot at the market, it must be noted that you will need to obtain a permit from the Clemson Cooperative Extension Office.
Working in Walhalla is not difficult. There are a wide range of industries available. A common misconception is that the greater Walhalla community do not work together to make an overall positive unit. There are established construction companies like Advanced Construction.
