Walhalla’s event scene is very much alive. There is no true want for a social scene here as it is very much thriving. Join us as we look into the many different events that are available.

Walhala Tailgate Party

September 1
Walhalla Football Field

Starting from 5:30 PM, prepare yourselves for an evening of kid friendly entertainment. The North Borders Eagles will be facing the Cavalier Tornadoes. This event is for those who wish to experience an honest to goodness tailgate event. Be prepared to stuff your face with hot dogs, burgers, and so many other classic American fares.

Donations made at the event will benefit the Walhalla Student Council.

Andy Offutt Irwin

If you’re looking for an evening of charming witticisms and roaring laughter, this event is for you. Andy makes his return to the WCA stage. Join him for an evening filled with clever songs and witty dialogue.

Back to Basics: OCP Reid Homestead Weekend

September 29 – October 1

For those who find volunteering to be a cause that is near and dear to their hearts. Register to join a cleanup of the Reid Homestead property. A group effort that places emphasis on working together to clear something that everyone may be able to use.

Bring extra gloves to help out those who may forget theirs!

Holy Smoke BBQ!

Enjoy the best BBQ around! Big thanks to the wonderful Iron Pig chefs Terry and Tina Stephens! This event also comes with a yard sale and bake sale. It’s the perfect event for families and kids. To help foster awareness in the community, there will be a K-9 demo by Oconee County Sherriff’s Department.

The yard sale wills start at 8 AM.

US Kids Golf Greenville Fall Tour

Support the budding theater talent! These brave actors try on an adventurous adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s timeless novel. Bring the children along so they get acquainted with a much beloved story retold by other kids.

This play is directed by Sherri Dunlap.

St. John’s Annual Craft Fair

St. John’s Lutheran Church

This is an annual crush which features handmade crafts by local church members. They also feature local goods made by other members of the community. If you’re looking to score good local deals and get to know the people in the community, this is a good event to go to.
